YOGA FOR EVERY BODY
I started yoga 24 years ago now. To try and sort out some pain in my lower back. Who would have thought as I hobbled into that general yoga class. Future me would be teaching courses specifically designed to help other people combat back pain
Yoga has been a constant threading it’s way in and out of my life amidst many changes. Never been something I did with one particular friend or at a particular time of my life. Rather something I have returned to again and again. It has become an old friend and something that sustains me.

The intention of each yoga session is to assist Every-Body participating in developing a healthy and loving dialogue with their body.
Encouraging people in the room to cultivate a curious rather than critical attitude towards self. How does this movement find expression in my body? at this moment? Not last week, not last year but now.
I like to think my classes are about inclusivity. Creating the space to initiate a more appreciative dialogue with your body and improve your range of movement, flexibility and sense of wellbeing in the process.
A regular practice can provide a daily inventory of your body world. Shifting attention to physical movement also assists with being able to notice the tone of your emotions and the quality of your thoughts. Which benefit’s physical and emotional well being.
Yoga can create a sense of calm, grounding and clarity making more challenging moments and life experiences easier to navigate
On a purely physical basis. Specific yoga poses maintained bone and joint strength. Keeping you flexible and injury free.
