Please email to confirm if a class is running as I am not available during school half term and summer holidays and sometimes it is not possible to arrange a substitute teacher for all classes.

Participants flow through a set sequence of movements/poses, known as asanas that work on the bodies whole range of movement. This increases flexibility, stamina and endurance. It also improves circulation, digestion, and ability to sleep.

Moreover, ashtanga yoga also helps in building muscle strength, which is often ignored in other forms of yoga. Thus, it is often regarded as a complete fitness program as well as calming and disciplining the mind and soul.

Testimonials
  • I always enjoy Liz's Ashtanga class while there but the best bit is how I feel afterwards- relaxed but energised and just a little bit happier about the world.–AMY BROCKETT Brockett

  • Liz makes Ashtanga yoga relaxed but focused. She explains the techniques of the practice clearly with patience, while keeping classes enjoyable and fun. I would highly recommend her classes at Artworks!
